  26. The Amiga always uses the memory on the mother board first,
  27. and the Toaster uses about 2 Megs per second for animation 
  28. playback.

  30. (( 12M MB RAM ) - ( 6 M for Toaster software)) / ( 2 Mps ) = 3s

  32. At the 3 second mark, the Toaster crosses the boundry from 
  33. motherboard RAM to your controller RAM. Are you running 
  34. 32 bit 60ns RAM with NO wait states on your card? I'd guess maybe
  35. your card is fetching data in two 16 bit chunks cutting your through-
  36. put in half.

  38. The seamless transfer to card RAM is one of the many reasons
  39. I went with a Warp Engine Accelerator/Controller/RAM Expansion.
  40. It's a superior piece of equipment that performs flawlessly no matter
  41. what configuration I throw at it. Hats off to MacroSystem 
  42. Development, Inc.! ... Now if I can just get an '060 upgrade for it...
